Gifted and Talented

Greenwood ISD is committed to the identification and service of all gifted and talented students in the district. The differentiated curriculum offered to these students shall emphasize depth over breadth and concepts over facts, growing the attitude of scholarliness of the students and helping them reach their full potential in areas of strength. We cultivate GT students by:

● providing a challenging, engaging curriculum

● encouraging critical thinking, creative problem-solving, research, and

   communication skills

● inspiring life-long learning

● supporting individual learning styles and affective needs to be successful

   in college/career/life.
