Upcoming Freshmen-
It's already time to think about pre-registration year!! the transition to high school frequently generates numerous questions and concerns, particularly regarding a student's schedule and his or her graduation requirements. To obtain important information regarding these concerns, parents and students are encouraged to attend one of the following pre-registration meetings: Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 7 p.m. (Both meetings will take place in the high school cafeteria.) If a student and/or parent is unable to attend either pre-registration meeting, I will contact the student during the school day for completion of the necessary paperwork.
**Please note that recent state legislation will make the graduation requirements for the class of 2011 significantly different than those who are graduating before them. Graduation information that is accurate for older students will not necessarily be accurate for you.
Guidance activities for the first semester will cover peer pressure, communication, Teen hygiene, goal setting, problem solving.
Guidance activities for the second semester will cover communication, careers, drugs and alcohol.
